My dog should never ever be allowed to eat Brussel Sprouts - ever again! EVER!!
It is perfectly acceptable to hide your son's toy - especially when it is a chime bell that he's hit you over the head with, caused you to go half deaf from the constant ringing and made the dog howl!
From now on we will take the toys out of the box before wrapping (or AT LEAST undo the ties) due to a little boy waiting patiently .... for the first 40 seconds anyway, whilst mummy or daddy hunt around for a pair of scissors to try and take the sodding cable ties off!!
It is perfectly acceptable (in my world anyway) to use a red bed sheet because you only realise at 6pm on Christmas Eve that the table cloth you bought won't fit the makeshift extended table!!

DeleteWell, thanks to you I have learnt something new.. use the bed sheet as a table cloth... Brilliant! :-)
ReplyDeletehehehe it was a fitted sheet and you could see the corners so I thought I'd brown tape them up to the underside of the table - yeah that didn't work!
DeleteVery funny list, the Brussel sprouts one might just be applicable to humans too, and I always use our business white bed sheets as tablecloths (don't tell our laundry company!)
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of business sheets :)
