Last week, my good friend Craig told me about Pooh House & Gardens. Which, from their website is described as "Magical One Acre Wonderland of Pooh House and Gardens". In Fittleworth, West Sussex.
The owners had opened up their gardens for all to visit with proceeds going to the Chestnut Tree House. A cause very dear to Craig's heart - please, if you have a spare moment read his story.Daddy had to fix his car on Sunday so it was just Max and me taking a trip to visit Pooh and we were not disappointed.
Max played with the gravel path, picked up ornaments and collected leaves whilst I was in awe of a truly magical little place, right here in the heart of Sussex.
We saw Piglet, Pooh and Tigger but no photos of them I'm afraid as Max cottoned on that every time I got the camera out...he did a runner in the other direction!
I only have a few pictures but to visit Pooh Gardens for £6.50 for a family of four to experience what reminded me of the garden in The Secret Garden - very magical lovely place, its local, its a day out and proceeds for charity - is a winner in my books.
