Those who follow my blog will know I do love my Malma mirrors. So you can imagine I was over the moon when my partner came home from the car boot sale with a new (old) one for me.
This gave me the perfect opportunity to use my new chalkboard paint spray that I bought. I do have other plans for this spray but I'm waiting on the right bargain from eBay / Gumtree to achieve that.
I found my mirror to still be a wee bit sticky the next day so I wet it and wahey - chalkboard mirror ready to write/draw on, and I found that bit highly addictive! I must have drawn half a dozen images and written several quotes before I put the mirror up!
I would say I'd never make a great teacher as I found I can't write very well on a chalkboard but then it dawned on me that schools probably don't have blackboards anymore.... soo showing my age!!
this is great!
ReplyDeleteThank you Anna
DeleteLOVE that idea. Can't wait to see your future chalkboard projects as i'd love to do something with chalkboard paint - I think my boys would love it. xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you. Highly recommend it, my boy loves to draw over everything so to have permission - might just blow his mind lol
DeleteGreat idea. I didn't know you could get chalkboard spray. Saves cleaning paintbrushes!
ReplyDeleteThanks Emma, the paint brush is so not my friend :)
