Max has received some rather fantastic books and magazines this past week and the first of which was a Personalised Avengers book given to us from Personalised Gift Solutions to review.
Personalised Gift Solutions is a family run business down in Southampton who specialise in selling personalised gifts. They currently have a supply of over 500 items which can be fully personalised, and due to such a high volume of products to personalise there is a lot of choice for whatever the occasion.

That being said, is it any surprise that the book we got to review was the Marvel Avengers book? If you are a regular reader you will know that my blog is full of Marvel, usually in the form of an
upcycled pieces or for the more observant - in almost all the clothes my son wears; when I showed Max his book his little eyes immediately lit up (and that was before he knew what was inside!).

When ordering the book you are asked to put in friends names as well as the person the gift is for. Obviously, Max's name is in the book throughout but the friend's names only pop up a couple of times, once at the beginning when they wave Max off and then again when he's thinking about them. The book is currently priced at £15.95, I think this is a bit expensive, all be it personalised, but I'm guessing the Marvel name behind this book is what is driving the price up. All Marvel fan will love it!

The book is in nice large print with quality pictures from the Avengers film on every page, and most importantly when we started reading this book to my son when he heard his name, and the name of his friends .... in the book....... his mouth did literally drop open!

We've read it a couple of times now and he's even asked if he can take it to the nursery with him to have the nursery staff read it to the group. We're going to let him take it next week, wish I could be a fly on the wall sometimes.
For me, you can never go wrong with a personalised gift. I still remember the buzz I got from when I was a child and I had my name on my pencils. Do you have a favourite personalised item?
