Spring in the Garden

One of my favourite activities as soon as spring has arrived and the starlings are coming down squawking for their meal-worm for their babies..... is surfing Pinterest, collecting pallets and getting ready for all our garden craft projects.

Last year we made our bug hotel and herb garden from pallets and this year we are planning to make 3 new projects.  I'm in two minds whether to spill the beans now or not as to what these projects are, but one of the projects is to make a pallet potting shelving unit


The above pin is similar to the shelving unit I want to make and apparently these are American pallets, not EU pallets (who knew!).  I'm very very excited about this and we've been clearing up the garden, getting the tools ready and best of all, accessories!!

I've bought some beautiful pieces from TKMaxx from their spring garden collection, and at a great price too.  Buckets, beautiful pastel coloured watering can, and Indian themed tea light holders.

There is also some lovely planters, giant garden games and seat cushions on their website but below I've pulled out my top 5 garden items which I may have to pop back into town for!
