Deciding what movies to watch in 2017

Last year I wrote a post on how I was going to decide on what new movies to watch in 2016.   I chose to watch the movies which had been nominated for an Oscar for Best Movie and Best Actor & Actress category.  12 months on and I've only watched 4 out of the 14 films I listed!!!

This year I'm going to aim to watch the movies that have been nominated for a BAFTA  for Best Film, Outstanding British Film, Animated, Special Effects and British Short Film!

I know that's sounds a lot, but I've seen a few already and a few are in several categories, so here's my 2017 film viewing:

- Moana
- Zootropolis

BAFTA Nominations for Special Visual Effects 

- Arrival
- Doctor Strange
- Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them
- The Jungle Book
- Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

BAFTA Nomination for British Short Film

- Consumed
- Home
- Mouth of Hell
- The Party
- The Standby

Only 22 films then...... let's see if I can beat last year's 4.  I do hope so as I've already seen 4 on the list!!
